Dear lovelies, please join me here as I write about stationery and wedding trends, building a business, and other daydreams. I typically focus on Veraly & Co., but thought for this first Reverie I should introduce myself.  Hi, I'm Juliana, and it's so nice to meet you.

I live in Grand Rapids, Michigan- if you haven't been here, I'm not surprised. Detroit gets more attention (good and bad) and is more often on the hitlist, but if you're ever in Michigan, Grand Rapids is a wonderful city close to Lake Michigan, farms, and is bustling with a growing beer, food, and art scene. What's nice about this city (besides the beer and lake, of course) is the size. Big enough to always have something happening, small enough that you run into people you know regularly and can make a name for yourself as an entrepreneur, artist, or activist.

I am a wife and mother of two (one fur baby, one human baby). My daughter, Marielle Rose, is my everything. I had no idea before becoming a mom just how much you could love another person. My fur baby, Ellie, is a sweet all american mutt that my husband I adopted the first summer we were married.

Veraly & Co. I suppose could be considered my third baby. Though I had always enjoyed drawing and crafts in my free time, it wasn't until around 2014 I started wondering what it could look like to be creative as a profession. I launched my first stationery business on Etsy that year and learned so much about working with clients and weddings specifically. After about two years on Etsy, I started thinking, what would it look like to expand my business- build my own website, create a new line of high end products, and try to do this thing full time? It was then that Veraly & Co was born.

I use the word "Reveries" throughout my site because that's what this business is to me- it's a daydream. The thing that is always in my mind and my heart. I hope you enjoy reading about my dreams, and I look forward to hearing about yours.
